Angle of Attack Sensor for Small UAS

This project addresses the designing a method of electronically sensing Angle-of-Attack that is suitable for medium sized UAS, ie. 55-500 lb. Create a feasibility prototype that demonstrates the capability of this method. Sensing aircraft AoA is of interest in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems, specifically at low speeds for enhancing autonomous landing capability. This project will work in collaboration with the large capstone team flight vehicle design.
