Congratulations to doctoral student Utku Eren on receiving the "Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Graduate Award 2017-2018" from the Technical Committees of The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). The AIAA Technical Committees' graduate scholarship program presents awards to graduate students doing excellent research in the air and space sciences.

Utku works with Professor Behcet Acikmese in the Autonomous Control Laboratory, performing research on Decentralized Density-based Guidance and Control for Autonomous Swarms. He is also a University of Washington Liaison for IEEE Young Professionals.
