This page has been updated to reflect UW Engineering's new Direct to College (DTC) admission process. The changes take effect for the incoming freshman class of 2018. For details, see:
High school students
The department encourages all prospective students currently in high school to attend a UW Campus Tour and Freshman Information Session (registration is required). These information sessions are hosted by the UW Office of Admissions and will cover how to apply to the UW in general. If interested, students may also register for a UW Residence Life Tour.
The department encourages all prospective transfer students currently at a community college or other 4-year university to attend a UW Transfer Thursday Information Session (registration is required). These information sessions are hosted by the UW Office of Admissions and will cover how to apply to the UW in general. Sessions are generally every Thursday (except holidays) from 1:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. in the Husky Union Building - Room 106.
Department drop-in advising hours
Thursdays, 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. in 211 Guggenheim Hall
If you are a prospective student with specific questions about the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering degree, you are invited to drop-in to meet with the academic adviser. We do ask if you are a high school or transfer student, that you attend a general UW information session first. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any departmental tours.
If you are unable to come in during drop-in hours, appointments may be available on a limited basis. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire.
