This page has been updated to reflect UW Engineering's new Direct to College (DTC) admission process. The changes take effect for the incoming freshman class of 2018. For details, see:
High school students
The department encourages all prospective students currently in high school to attend a UW Campus Tour + Freshman Admission Presentation (registration is required). Freshman Admission Presentations are hosted by the UW Office of Admissions and will cover how to apply to the UW in general. If interested, students may also register for a UW Residence Life Tour and/or UW Maker Space Tours (Dabble Lab/Area 01 of MILL).
The department encourages all prospective transfer students currently at a community college or other 4-year university to attend a UW Transfer Thursday Information Session (registration is required). Transfer Thursdays Information Sessions are hosted by the UW Office of Admissions and will cover how to apply to the UW in general. Sessions are generally every Thursday (except holidays) from 1:30 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. in the Husky Union Building - Room 106. Alternately if you are not able to come to campus, monthly webinars are also available.
If you are a prospective student with specific questions about the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering degree, you are invited to make an advising appointment with an academic adviser. We do require high school and transfer students to attend either a Freshman Admission Presentation or Transfer Thursday Information Session before requesting an advising appointment. We also ask that prospective students familiarize themselves with the information on our website before requesting an advising appointment. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about an advising appointment.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any departmental tours.
