Admissions

Information sessions

High school students

The department encourages all prospective students currently in high school to attend a UW Freshman Information Session (registration is required).  Sessions are hosted by the UW Office of Admissions with information about UW and the UW freshman application process in general.  There will be some time for questions at the end of the session.

Transfer students

The department encourages all prospective transfer students currently at a community college or other 4-year university to attend a UW Transfer Thursday Information Session (registration is required). Sessions are hosted by the UW Office of Admissions with information about UW and the UW transfer application process in general.  There will be some time for questions at the end of the session.

Advising appointments

If you are a prospective student with specific questions about the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering degree, you are invited to make an individual advising appointment with the A&A undergraduate academic adviser.  We do require high school and transfer students to attend either a UW Freshman Information Session or a UW Transfer Thursday Information Session before requesting an advising appointment.  We also ask that prospective students familiarize themselves with the information on our website before requesting an advising appointment. Please e-mail aeroadvising@uw.edu to inquire about an advising appointment.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any departmental tours.
