Redmond Plasma Physics lab

Redmond Plasma Physics Lab

The Redmond Plasma Physics Laboratory is an off-campus facility of the Aerospace and Energetics Research Program of the University of Washington's Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. RPPL is the world’s leading facility to investigate the physics of field-reversed configurations and new current-drive techniques. Studies at RPPL center around the Field Reversed Configuration alternate magnetic confinement fusion concept utilizing Rotating Magnetic Fields.
