UW Aeronautics and Astronautics is one of the nation’s original aerospace engineering departments, and our faculty and students continue to make internationally recognized contributions to aerospace and engineering technology. The department is setting a new standard with its educational offerings by building centers of excellence in three multidisciplinary thrust areas that are key to 21st century advances—aircraft systems, space systems, and energy systems.
Students are making a substantial investment in studying one of the most demanding disciplines at the University of Washington. You can help secure their future by supporting one of the nation's best programs, a continuing force for technological progress and the strengthening of our regional and national economies. Private support is essential to our success.
The nation’s top engineering programs compete fiercely for outstanding faculty, both those with proven credentials and rising young stars. Competing for top students is also key, as the creative synergy between faculty and students defines a program and makes great things happen. The most promising graduate students are drawn to schools with nationally recognized faculty and exciting research opportunities, and faculty are eager to join institutions with brilliant students who can help drive research forward.
You can play an important role in the effort to recruit and retain the most outstanding faculty, to attract the top students, and to support innovators who will improve our lives in innumerable ways.
Endowed scholarships, fellowships, professorships and chairs, along with flexible unrestricted gifts can translate into real opportunities for our students and faculty.
The College of Engineering can work with you to tailor a giving program to your wishes. Contact us to find out how you can make a difference.
