* CHI injector configuration is similar * NSTX volume about 30 x HIT-II (better for carbon burn-through and improved separation between divertor and main plasma) * NSTX uses high current DC power supplies vs. capacitor discharge on HIT-II (allows greater control over current drive - especially during addition of CHI to Ohmic) * HIT-II has higher gas flow capability.
